Timmy: from eating foods I don’t like.
Mama: oh …. i didn’t know that fact …
Timmy: yeah, and from eating spicy foods. Brennen makes me eat spicy foods all the time.

2010 Wrap Up!
So the rest of 2010 ended with a fun time with Craig and Maya at the Brad Paisley concert. We had a fun, even though a drunk dude poured beer down all our backs! lol, and the concert hadn’t even started! It was Justin Moore (he’s from Arkansas), Darius Rucker (think Hootie and the Blowfish), and of course Brad. Darius was cool, he sang some old Hootie songs and even busted out some Prince’s “Purple Rain.” We stopped at Krispy Kreme on the way home! YUM!

The boys joined Boy Scouts this year! And they love it! They’ve learned many skills and made lots of great friends! Aren’t they so handsome!

Gobble Gobble! Thanksgiving! Maya helped with the turkey . . . hehe . . . of course she didn’t know all the steps to prepping a turkey before she started . . . I had quite a giggle watching her! Dinner was yummy and of course followed by naps!

Christmas 2010, The stockings were hung by the chimney with care . . . Christmas was quiet here, all the kids were at thier other families’ homes, and I had to work. But we did get together afterwards and had a great time!
Hello Color!
I’m really not sure what Craig’s former wife was thinking when she painted the walls in the kitchen, but I was tired of the acid trip, and decided it was time for a change.
This wall was some kind of camo-orange detail-sponge work. Wasn’t sponge decor popular in the 90′s? Not quite my style!
This wall consisted of Grandma’s wallpaper. Flowers and fruit! GAG! And don’t mind the boot!
Yes, I know the picture is sideways, but you get the point. The third wall (and the rest of the kitchen) was this (un) lovely green color! You can see the toffee-ish color we painted, which was green. Barf.
And the beautiful results!
I just love it! So much nicer and “ONE.”
